Celebrating the 50th Anniversary Holly Day Fair!

It’s hard to imagine that 50 years ago a group of local women came together and decided to host a small crafts fair fundraiser at St. John’s Episcopal Church here in Fayetteville! The fair now boasts over 22,000 shoppers, more than 200 vendors and raises over a quarter of million dollars each year, making it the largest gift and craft show in Eastern North Carolina! The Holly Day Fair has allowed the Junior League of Fayetteville to be one of the greatest community supporters of this city with a record of giving back over $5 million to our hometown. And we couldn’t have done it without the support of each of you who attend our Holly Day Fair.

jami_funYes, we have come a long way since those days in the fellowship hall of St. John’s church, but the one thing that remains the same is our dedication to this community in making it a better place for us all to live. We look forward to seeing you at the 50th Annual Holly Day Fair, November 3-6, 2016 as we celebrate our GOLDEN anniversary! Make sure to wear your comfortable walking shoes!

Sincerely
